Channeling is the communication
of information to or through a person (the channel
or medium), from a purported spirit or other
supernatural entity outside the mind (or self) of
the channel. Channelling is part of the belief
systems and rituals of many religions, such as
shamanism, Candomblé, Voodoo, Kardecism, Umbanda,
and more.
Mediumistic control
means a sharing of mental and physical energies
between the medium and spirit communicator or
operator. Control signifies a telepathic rapport
between the two. How strongly en rapport they are
determines the degree of control. Control can range
from inspired thought, to conscious control, to
light trance, to deep trance, to very deep trance.
It all depends upon the work at hand and the mental
and physical energies available to the spirit
communicator or operator.
Channeling occurs
when another consciousness is allowed to align with
the channeler for the purpose of communication and
the sharing of information. The channeler steps
back in consciousness and allows the entity to move
through them to use their mind, emotions, and vocal
chords.
Channeling can be
used to verify intuitive feelings, and to view
life’s issues and situations with deeper awareness.
The spirit guides are able to help most people with
their down-to-earth issues, as well as with diverse
and abstract metaphysical
concerns.
